“I believe that an individual having a sound mental health leads to have fully self awareness, greater Coping capability with the stresses of life, better understanding of the self role and norms of the society. However, the demons like social stigmas attached to the aspects of mental health, lacking in medical facilities and experts of the field affects widely. Being a social worker I believe simply to contribute maximum for social change and nation building by contributing my efforts to conquer the battle against the demons of mental health. Although it is not a cakewalk but a small step towards attaining the long term goal can surely put remarkable impacts. I am readily prepared to adopt new challenges and opportunity to explore further in the field of mental health which will surely contribute to achieve my vision. I am fortunate enough to get associated with MINDS where I can dedicatedly work in alignment of the organizational vision.”
