Ankita Gupta is a Research Associate at MINDS and received her BA in Psychology from Jai Hind College, Mumbai. She is a Certified Youth Mental Health First Aid Provider as well as a Child Abuse Primary Respondent. She believes in building and utilizing her skills to advocate the importance of mental health and its aspects among the younger and older generations. She hopes to free the existing beliefs and ideas of mental health from the prevailing myths and stigmas.
As an intern of the MINDS foundation and under the mentorship of Ms. Pragya Lodha, Ankita served as a part of a study on Postpartum Depression (PPD) by collecting data from low-income mothers and families at Sion Hospital, Mumbai. She also conducted Mission 10K training program to amplify mental health awareness among the community.
