Health and wellbeing is a universal human right. We all deserve to live in a world where our mental health is seen to be as important as our physical health. Today, a person takes their own life every 40 seconds. 1 in 4 of us will experience mental ill health.
Everyone, everywhere should have someone to turn to in support of their mental health.
We at MINDS are committed to combating mental ill health through a multi-pronged approach. Through mental health education and training in communities, corporate settings, academic institutions—we aim to bring a preventative approach to decreasing the global burden of mental ill health. Through partnerships with existing infrastructure and clinics, we aim to increase access to high-quality mental health care for those in need. Lastly, by focusing on integrating the arts, media, and storytelling, we aim to decrease the stigma and increase the conversation around mental health to nurture the development of a positive environment.
